Sojourner
A sojourner I continued,
Took meal, pills; slept off.
I dreamt
I went through woods,
Climbed uphill; gasping,
Sweating
I met a lass.
Oh fairy, sweet her!
Jolted, yet mild, I asked her
About
Whispering fig leaves, sighing flowers,
Crushed palm kernels...
I listened:
"For everything, time is given:
A time to reflect,
And a time to forget;
A time to stay,
A time to leave."
